Keeping your eyes on the prize and barrelling through no matter what. You grind for an honest day's work and get home beat to all hell. Nobody is there to congratulate you. Nobody really cares. But, even if they did, it wouldn’t matter to you. You do what you have to do to survive, not for any empty accolade.Â
There is a great feeling of satisfaction derived from making it happen for yourself. Never getting anything handed to you. Earning every ounce with your own sweat. Digging deep when you think you have nothing left to give. You always find a way. The reserves you didn’t even know you had kick in hard and you finish every job you start.
This is the Hustle. It’s never pretty or easy. Soft hands need not apply. These are the trenches where life kicks you in the sack and you ask for another. Your spirit can’t be broken, lord knows they have tried. You just keep getting up every morning, day after day. No matter how tired or defeated you feel. One day at a time until your goal is owned.
