Is the clock irreversibly close to midnight? As we spin seemingly out of control toward full-scale nuclear inhalation, are we going to be able to pump the brakes and not destroy the world? There are several variables in this equation that play a huge role in the outcome. Let’s explore the big ones and see if we even stand a chance.
The first and foremost is leadership. Does the United States have a global leader that can successfully navigate the current friction around the world? As it stands, that is up for debate and unclear. Without a cool head and strong presence in command, the rest of the planet looks at us as weak and vulnerable. Not a great thing when trying to keep the peace.
We are facing international war like we have not seen in some time. It’s like the principal is gone and the kids are running the school. We can all agree that the balance is off and is manifesting in turmoil all over. Both foreign and domestic climates are tumultuous and all feel like they are on the verge of breaking.
So, yes… We are extremely close and we pray there is a path back from this. We need strong leadership on the global stage more than anything. Without this key factor accountability is abandoned and the hierarchy that keeps everything and everyone in line quickly disintegrates. Remember that come November…
